I've received so many kind words regarding the Submissive re-release and it makes me feel so glad that something that is so dear to me can mean so much to others. I just got this one:
"Hi,this LP is so great that I can't describe it(at the moment, I'm listening to the Flaming Lips and I would mix my impressions, too). There is so much crap out there in the universe of pop (expecially popular pop), that I want to tell many of my friends something about your music and it'll help them to live and to sleep calm.Of course, then, they'll take care, too, and I hope to see you in some time in Germany, Münster.
bye, Tim K"
Well, it sure helps me to "sleep calm".

German Myspace-feature!
Wow. A feature on German Myspace. I was wondering why we had so many plays on myspace.
Isn't that just fantastic?!

We average at around 25 plays/day normally, so imagine my surprise when I saw this! :

...but oh those summer nights
Yesterday I had one of those days that makes you think about what you're doing with your life, who your friends really are and what you need to do to get where you want to be. I got irritated at a friend for little things, I cursed my (not very cool) pollen allergy and I felt excluded because of vacation plans that doesn't seem to become reality. Basically a crappy day.
But as evening came, I got invited to a friend's house and we had a nice time watching the Euro 2008, drinking beer and listening to the new Coldplay album (which btw could be the best album I've heard in a really long time). I got to lighten my heart from a lot of stuff that I usually don't get to share with people. Things that have shaped me over the last year. Heartache, pain, loss, love and death. Most people don't have the will or strenght to listen to someone opening up like I have a tendency to do sometimes. But this person did. She asked the questions, she listened to my extensive answers, with genuine interest. That made me feel very good, very glad. It also made me realize that there is light in this very dark world. There are compassionate people out there. People that care, even if they don't know you.
That gives me hope. Thank you.

Ps. We shot some photos of the band last wednesday. I think they will turn out great!

Let's make a list
Today I think I'll make a list of things I really like at the moment - in no particular order;
1. Lindt Madagaskar 70 % (heavenly chocolate)
2. Euro 2008 (football every day for three weeks!)
3. Vegetarian bacon (so I can make pasta carbonara)
4. Netherlands (kicking Italy's butt as we speak, wonderful!)
5. Veronica Maggio (a cool breeze in the summer heat. swedish soul)
6. Espresso House's Ice Latte (gets me through this hot June)

Ljugarbänken
Hey.
Now I'm back on track with the blogging.
The reason I haven't been writing is that I've been doing an acoustic solo tour on the african continent. I had a blast! Here are the dates:
May 10 Machmud's Tavern, Tangier, Morocco
May 13 Kafé Khadaffi, Tripoli, Libya
May 15 The Sphinx, Giza, Egypt
May 18 Nbutu's Diner, Dar es-Salaam, Tanzania
May 21 Bo-Kaap, Cape Town, South Africa
hmmm...
I'm really exited since the European Championships in Austria/Switzerland starts this Saturday!
We talking football for weeks and weeks to come! Let's all keep our fingers crossed that the Swedish national team makes it past the group stage. After that anything can happen. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrik Larsson might be one of the best striking duos in Europe. Let's hope they have a good tournament!
Time to get some sleep.
Peace out!

The heat is on
Just a short entry...
Summer is here. It's great, it's hot. HOT.
Our debut album "Submissive alpha female" has just been released as a free download as part of promoting us in Germany. Already there are some great reviews of it! I posted some links on our myspace blog. ( www.myspace.com/dynamo77sweden )
I have to run. Promise to write soon again. Meanwhile, you need to check this out. I almost wet my pants watching it:
